I made Charlie a shield out of the take n' bake pizza round and some tinfoil. 

A Surprise

Charlie: Mom, I'm going to make you a surprise. 

Me: Great! I can't wait!

2 minutes later. . .

Charlie: Can you open the bread for me?

2 minutes after that. . .

Charlie: Can you open the turkey?

2 minutes after that . . .

Charlie: Can you open the cheese?

The suspense is killing me. 

Just Call Her Florence

Zeena always knows when I'm not feeling well, and will come sit with me. She also makes sure that she is touching me, even if it's just a paw.

Shawn and Charlie walk in the house with smoothies. 

Me: You didn't  get me a smoothie? Don't you love me?

Charlie : We loved you yesterday.
